Liberty, did you try making the pizza dough using the Kodiak buttermilk mix? If so, how did it come out? What did you/would you do differently if making it again? I have a couple of boxes of this mix and would love some new ideas for how to use it in a point-friendly manner!

Hi Liberty!

I’ve never tried using Kodiak Mix for that before. You can give it a try-I would recommend adding 1/2 tsp of baking powder to the mix to help it rise better.

Thanks so much!

Hi Brittney,

The point values can vary depending on the brand of ingredients that are used. I use the Gold Medal self rising flour which is 5 points per 1/2 cup. The light mozzarella from Trader Joe’s is 2 points for 2 ounces. That is 7 points. The non fat Greek yogurt, bbq sauce, chicken, onions and cilantro are all 0 points. This is how the 7 points are calculated for the entire pizza.

Again, it can vary depending on the ingredients you use.

Thanks so much.
