Can you add lemon juice to vanilla sf pudding? Hard to find the sf lemon where I live.

My apologizes. I had edited the recipe from extract to fresh lemon juice and forgot to edit the directions. I have now done so.
In place of the extract you can use fresh lemon juice and zest. If you don’t have a fresh lemon,,,you use 1/2 tbsp of lemon extract.

I’m assuming yes, but does the lemon juice and zest go into the cake batter? Also, is there a measurement for the extract? Thanks! We love lemon and I’d love to make this for my husband.
