It’s been a couple of years since I made these but was the egg in the batter always been an ingredient? I LOVED these because it didn’t have egg, but now that I made them and added the egg it has that eggy texture that I don’t remember from a couple of years ago. Is there a way to substitute the egg?

I can’t find the Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles . Could I just cook up some Jimmy Dean turkey sausage instead?

Hi Vanessa,

Yes, these do freeze well. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month. Just thaw them overnight in the fridge when ready to reheat.
