Creamy Fruit Salad

This Creamy Fruit Salad is simple combination of fresh fruit, non fat Greek yogurt, and sugar free cool whip! Serve it as a side salad or even as a dessert! This recipe is super versatile and comes together in less than 10 minutes!

This Creamy Fruit Salad is healthy and delicious! Summer is all about fresh fruits packed with nutritional goodness! This salad makes for a quick and easy side dish for any summer occasion!

What ingredients do I need to make this Creamy Fruit Salad?

  • Apple-I like to use Honey-crisp or Granny Smith. Cored and chopped.
  • Lemon juice– to help keep apple from browning.
  • Pineapple tidbits- canned and drained
  • Blueberries
  • Green or red grapes-whole or halved 
  • Strawberries-chopped
  • Sugar free cool whip- thawed.
  • Non fat plain Greek yogurt -I like to use Greek yogurt for added protein. You could use regular yogurt, if preferred.
  • Dash of vanilla extract– adds sweetness to the yogurt.

What other fruit could I add to this Creamy Fruit Salad?

  • Raspberries
  • Mandarin oranges, canned and drained
  • Blackberries
  • Mangoes, diced
  • Fresh sliced peaches
  • Bananas, sliced

How do I make this Creamy Fruit Salad?

In a large mixing bowl combine Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and cool whip. Stir to combine.

Add chopped apples squeeze lemon juice on top to keep from browning. 

Add the pineapple tidbits, blueberries, grapes, and strawberries to the yogurt mixture.

Gently fold the yogurt mixture to evenly coat the fruit.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours prior to serving to allow the flavors to blend together.

Serve chilled and garnish with any remaining fruit before serving.

  • 1½ cups blueberries
  • 2 cups green or red grapes, whole or halved 
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar free cool whip, thawed 
  • 1 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt -like to use Greek yogurt for added protein
  • Dash of vanilla extract 

Directions: 

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and cool whip. Stir to combine.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice on top of the chopped apples to keep from browning. 
  3. Add the chopped apples, pineapple tidbits, blueberries, grapes, and strawberries to the yogurt mixture.
  4. Gently fold the yogurt mixture to evenly coat the fruit.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour prior to serving to allow the flavors to blend together.
  6. Serve chilled and garnish with any remaining fruit before serving.
