These simple and healthy no bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls are perfect for an easy snack on-the-go! Made with old fashioned rolled oat flour, protein powder, peanut butter and sugar free maple syrup, these no-bake protein balls recipe will keep you satisfied for hours!

What ingredients do I need to make this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls?

  • Old fashioned rolled oats- blended into oat flour. We recommend using old fashioned rolled oats vs. quick oats.
  • Vanilla protein powder- any brand will work. We like to use Clean Simple Eats simply vanilla. You can find it online HERE– save 10% on your order with discount code: pounddropper.
  • Sugar free maple syrup – we like to use Choczero maple syrup. You can find it on Amazon HERE.
  • Milk – use your favorite. Unsweetened cashew, skim, or almond milk. We like to use Fairlife skim milk for added protein.
  • Creamy peanut or nut butter -We like to use Better n’ Peanut Butter-which you can find HERE online. It has less fat, calories, and points than regular peanut butter.
  • Vanilla extract
  • No sugar added milk chocolate chips- We like use Choczero milk no sugar added chocolate chips. You can find them on Amazon HERE.

What blender do you recommend to blend the oats with?

I like to blend the old fashioned oats into flour-making for a smooth creamy texture- similar to cookie dough! I use my small ninja blender- however any food processor or high powdered blender will work!

How do I make these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls?

Place oats using a food processor or blender.

Blend until the oats are a flour consistency. 

In a large mixing bowl combine the oat flour, protein powder, sugar free maple syrup, nut butter, and vanilla. Gradually add milk until desired texture.

Mix until dough forms.

Fold in the chocolate chips and mix until well combined.

Using your hands measure out one tablespoon of batter and roll into a ball. Continue until all 15 protein balls are made.

Place protein balls on a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or enjoy immediately.

or store in the fridge for later!

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats- blended into oat flour. You can use gluten- free oats, if neeeded.
  • 1/2 cup or 4 oz. vanilla protein powder- I use Clean Simple Eats simply vanilla 
  • 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup - I use Choczero syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk of your choice 
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut or nut butter (I like to use Better n’ Peanut Butter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 Tbsp or 90 grams no sugar added milk chocolate chips- I use Choczero milk no sugar added chocolate chips
