How do I make these Protein Muddy Buddies?
Combine protein powder and flex flavor packet in a gallon zip top bag and set aside.
In a microwaveable bowl melt peanut butter and lilys_sweets_chocolate chips in the microwave until they melt (about 30-50 seconds) then gently fold in cereal until well-coated.
Pour into zip top bag and shake to coat. Divide into 6 half-cup servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop Devotion Nutrition Angel Food Cake Protein Powder or 1/4 cup any protein powder
- 1 Devotion Nutrition Flex Flavors packet, I used peanut butter crunch but any flex flavor would be delicious (optional)
- 2 Tbsp Jiff Whips smooth peanut butter (or you could also do @pb2foods ) I love the creaminess of the real peanut butter…so I used @jifbrand Jif whips. Also, the points are the same either way.
- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 14g Lily’s_sweets_chocolate no sugar added chocolate chips
Directions:
- Combine protein powder and flex flavor packet in a gallon zip top bag and set aside.
- In a microwaveable bowl melt peanut butter and lilys_sweets_chocolate chips in the microwave until they melt (about 30-50 seconds) then gently fold in cereal until well-coated.
- Pour into zip top bag and shake to coat. Divide into 6 half-cup servings.

First, thank you so much for introducing me to Devotion (I did use you code)! I drink or bake with it daily and always feel like I’m cheating on points . As for this recipe, I sure wish the two peanut butter options were equal points because I love Jif Whips, but not the points.. 2TB PB2=1 point; 2TB Whips=5 points. I’m still going to make this because crunchy peanutty are a fav. Think I’ll try it both ways or maybe once using 1TB of each. Will come back with results.

Hi Jody! You are very welcome! I love Devotion as well. I agree- the Jif whip peanut butter is my favorite- it's creamier and to me it tastes just like really peanut butter and when it melts it can go further with drizzle than Powdered PB. The points are higher than the powdered PB but it's lower than regular peanut butter. I would love to hear what your thoughts are making this recipe with the powdered PB. Thanks again for your comments and feedback!

How would you measure the PB2 to replace the JifWhips?

Yes, you would use equal amounts of the PB2 as a substitute.

I love the idea of the 2 ingredient dough but do you use a certain kind of flour? Thanks!

Yes. It needs to be self rising or you can use all purpose flour and add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt for 1 cup flour. I like the gold medal brand since it’s also lower in points
