These Copycat Red Lobster Cheesy Biscuits are made with a two ingredient dough-so easy to make and they taste incredible!

Ingredients:

  • 1  cup Gold Medal self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup Fage plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup light cheddar cheese ( I use Velveeta Shreds)
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning or Italian seasoning
  • 1 medium egg  (1 tsp water mixed with one beaten egg)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Combine flour and greek yogurt, cheese, garlic powder, old bay seasoning and onion salt
  2. Sprinkle a little extra flour on the tabletop or whatever surface you plan on using to knead the dough. Place the dough ball on top, kneading it with your hands. If it sticks to your hands, sprinkle a little extra flour on it.
  3. Knead for 3-5 times,until it’s a pliable dough.
  4. Roll dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cut out circles with a 2-inch cookie cutter.
  5. Spray the top of the roll dough with non-stick cooking spray or you brush the tops with egg wash to brown the tops.
  6. Cook at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Serving: Makes 8 biscuits

The SmartPoint values and nutritional information is estimated and figured based off the brand of ingredients listed in the recipe using the WW app. The SmartPoint values may vary depending on the brand of ingredients used. To calculate the Smartpoint value on a recipe you will need to enter the ingredients in the WW app manually by creating a recipe using the recipe builder. The WW app does not recognize the zero point ingredients in recipes and will calculate it based only off the nutritional information; which will not be accurate.

I just made these and got 11. I’m not sure of I messed up and made the biscuits too thin or just lucky with extra biscuits.
