That’s right! This will become your new favorite dip! This Queso Dip is packed with 9 grams of protein per serving–serve with protein low carb tortilla chips or veggies like carrots, celery, or mini bell peppers! A quick and easy dip recipe!

What ingredients do I need to make this Cottage Cheese Queso Dip?

  • Low fat cottage cheese
  • Low sodium taco seasoning
  • Reduced fat cheese, shredded. You can use Mexican, Cheddar or Pepper jack
  • Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

How do I make this Cottage Cheese Queso dip?

Add the cottage cheese and taco seasoning to a blender and blend on high until smooth.

Pour the blended cottage cheese into a microwave safe bowl.

Add cheese and rotel.

Microwave for 30 second intervals for one minute or until the cheese is melted.

Remove from the microwave and stir vigorously until well combined. 

Serve warm with veggies, protein chips, or tortilla chips.

Garnish with diced tomatoes, chopped jalapeños, or green onions, if desired.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese- I like to use 2% low fat cottage cheese.
  • 1/4 cup reduced fat cheese, shredded. You can use Mexican, cheddar, or pepper jack.
  • 1 Tbsp low sodium taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained 

Directions:

  1. Add the cottage cheese and taco seasoning to a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended cottage cheese into a microwave safe bowl and add cheese and Rotel.
  3. Microwave for 30 second intervals for one minute or until the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from the microwave and stir until well combined. 
  5. Serve warm with veggies, protein chips, or tortilla chips.
  6. Store leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in microwave.
