Easy TikTok Blended Baked Oats

These Easy TikTok Blended Baked Oats are inspired by a Tiktok viral recipe- and are worth the hype! They are a viral sensation on TikTok! If you’re sick and tired of the same old breakfast- you are going to love these baked oats- loaded with protein, fiber, and staple pantry ingredients!!

Servings: 1 serving

GREEN/BLUE: 4 smartpoints per serving

PURPLE: Zero smartpoint per serving of you do NOT blend the oats and/or banana or 4 smartpoints per serving

What ingredients do I need to make these Easy TikTok Blended Baked Oats?

  • Oats – you can use old fashioned rolled or quick oats, both work for this recipe.  Note: Steel cut oats will NOT work for this recipe. The texture will not be on key if you were to use these.
  • Milk – any milk works. You can use skim, oat, unsweetened coconut or almond milk. I like to use unsweetened almond milk. If you use any milk other than unsweetened coconut or almond milk the point value may vary.
  • Banana-very ripe. The more ripe the banana is the sweeter the oats will be. You can use 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or pumpkin puree as a substitute. Keep in mind the banana gives these oats a natural sweetness that you just don’t get with unsweetened applesauce or pumpkin purée.
  • Baking powder  to help make them rise and gives it a nice fluffy texture. These baked oats taste just like having a delicious cake for breakfast.
  • Ground cinnamon-for taste.
  • Pure vanilla extract-for taste.
  • Salt- for taste.
  • Sweetener – you use your favorite sweetener or sugar free syrup. You could also use honey, regular sugar, or pure maple syrup; for additional points. I like to use Lakanto Monkfruit Baking Sweetener.
  • Sugar free Chocolate chips – optional, but highly recommended! I love using ChocZero no sugar added milk chocolate chips or Lily’s no sugar added chocolate chips. You can have up to 7 chips for zero points! If you waned to add more-go for it-keep in mind the points will vary!
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder-optional, if making a chocolate one. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers! The point value is the same if you use just 1 Tbsp.

Optional Toppings:

Can I make these in advance?

You bet! I love having these oats all prepped. You can prep the dry ingredients in zip lock bags. When ready to make, just add the dry ingredients with wet ingredients in the blender or food processor. You can also bake the blended oats in advance and store covered in the fridge until ready to reheat.

What do I cook these Easy TikTok Blended Baked Oats in?

You’ll want to use a 8 oz. oven safe oven-safe ramekin or dish. Click HERE for the ones I have and LOVE!

Don’t have blender or food processor?

You can use 1/2 cup oat flour as a substitute for the oats.

However, if you are in the market for a blender/food processor- I highly recommend the Ninja Mega Kitchen System.

Click HERE to check it out.

Can I double this recipe?

Yes. You can always double, triple, or quadruple the recipe for more servings. Cover the leftover oats and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. When ready to eat, uncover and reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds. You can ask freeze the baked oats before or after baking and it will keep for up to 3 months.

Can I use steel cut oats?

No. I don’t recommend using steel cut oats. They won’t blend enough to give you the cake-like texture. You can use rolled oats, old fashioned oats, quick oats, or oat flour.

Can this be cooked in a muffin tin?

Sure, you can make it in a muffin tin but the recipe will only make about 3 muffins. You can always double, triple, or quadruple the recipe for more muffin servings.

Author Notes:

  • **UPDATE/EDITED smart-points for the purple plan. I recently stated these were ZERO points for PURPLE However, after much research and clarification it has been confirmed that if you are following the WW purple plan and are using any ZeroPoint foods in their whole form in a recipe, and not adding any additional ingredients with SmartPoints values, they’ll stay zero. If you use “whole” oats in oatmeal cookies, oatmeal they will stay zero points. However, if they are not in “whole” form they will count as points- therefore in this recipe- the oats will be counted.
  • Point value does not include optional toppings.
  • Point value includes using 7 sugar free chocolate chips on top of the oat batter

Can these be made in the microwave?

Hello

Yes, they can! Microwave the blended oat batter on high for 3-4 minutes. Please note:ALL microwaves are DIFFERENT. The batter will puff up in the microwave while cooking and then lower when it's done cooking.

Have you tried it with protein powder, like Devotion nutrition....if you did try that, how would that change the recipe, if at all. Maybe just add a scoop of butter blend? I'm very interested in protein packed snacks or breakfasts

I did try the chocolate (muffins) with 1 Tbsp of Orgain Simple chocolate peanut butter cup protein powder & the taste is awesome! I like to add protein powder to recipes when possible also.

OMG!! These are ABSOLUTELY amazing. I made them into 3 regular size muffins and used unsweetened applesauce (instead of banana) with 1 Tbsp Swerve brown sugar. I included 1 Tbsp of PB2 since pnb is a common staple in our household I also made another batch of the chocolate - both adding the 7 Unsweetened chocolate chips (to fill my 6 tin pan)!! This will become our new morning "muffin" (my husband loves the chocolate w/ whip cream on top & I had the regular w/ about 1/2 tsp additional pnb). I may even try adding a Tbsp of protein powder next time. Thanks so much for all your yummy recipes - we are definite fans!!!
