These Four Ingredient Protein Chocolate Peanut Brownies are made using just 4 simple ingredients: banana, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and protein powder- and if you want a little more sweeteness-top with no sugar added chocolate chips!
What ingredients do you use to make these Four Ingredient Protein Chocolate Peanut Brownies ?
- Very ripe bananas – be sure to use large bananas otherwise if you use a too small bananas, the brownies will be dry. The riper the bananas, the sweeter the brownies.
- No sugar added peanut butter – I like to use no sugar added JIF peanut butter or Better N’ Peanut Butter. You can use cashew butter or a nut butter alternative, if preferred.
- Unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa powder

- Sugar free chocolate chips– I like to use ChocZero no sugar added milk chocolate chips-these are optional-but highly recommended.
How do you make these Four Ingredient Protein Chocolate Peanut Brownies ?
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a high speed blender or mixing bowl, mash or blend bananas until well mashed.
Add peanut butter, protein powder, and cocoa powder and stir until JUST combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle no sugar added chocolate chips on top, if desired.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-22 minutes or until edges and tops are firm.
Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing or serving. This will allow the brownies to completely settle.
Store the brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
