How do I make this Garlic Parmesan Salmon in Foil?
You will begin by preheating the oven to 400 degrees.
Season the top of the salmon with salt and pepper.
Line a baking sheet with foil and sprat the foil with non stick cooking spray.
Tear off a 24 inch x 18 inch piece of foil. Fold it in half to make a 18 x 12 foil piece. Place foil piece on top of prepared baking sheet.
Place salmon fillets on the center of the foil.
I like to buy my salmon fillets from either Trader Joe’s or Costco. Trader Joe’s are precut into 1/2 pound fillets.
In a small bowl, mix together butter, Parmesan, minced garlic, and parsley.
Using a spoon cover the salmon with cheese mixture
in an even layer.
Fold foil over salmon, covering completely and seal completely, by pressing the edges together.
Bake until the salmon is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
Uncover the salmon.
Turn oven to broil (550 degrees) and broil until top begins to lightly brown,
about 8-10 more minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 2 pieces

I’ve made this salmon about five times, and it has become one of our favorites. I use the cooking method even when I don’t use the Parmesan topping. It results in a lovely crispy top and light flaky salmon! Yummy!
