- Land O’ Lakes light butter made with canola oil® or light butter
- All Purpose flour
- Skim milk2 Tbsp fat free half and half cream
- Garlic powder
- Light cream cheese
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Chopped fresh or dried parsley
How do you make this Homemade Skinny Alfredo Sauce?
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
Until a roux is made.
Gradually whisk in milk until incorporated, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in cheeses until melted, about 1-2 minutes.
If the mixture is too thick, add more milk as needed; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

I like to meal prep the 8 servings using 1/4 cup Skinny Alfredo Sauce, 1 cup spaghetti squash, and green beans.

- Serve over low point pasta, whole wheat pasta, spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles.
