 These No Bake White Chocolate Peppermint Protein Balls are a tasty and healthy holiday treat! Made with basic ingredients including: White Chocolate Peppermint protein powder, peanut butter, honey, and peppermint candy canes. These make for the perfect healthy snack to prep ahead of time! They can be gluten-free using gluten-free rolled oats!

These No Bake White Chocolate Peppermint Protein Balls are the BEST protein packed snack for kids and adults! What ingredients do I need to make these No Bake White Chocolate Peppermint Protein Balls?

  • Rolled oats -gluten free, if desired.
  • Reduced fat peanut butter or almond butter– I like to use Better n’ Peanut Butter, You can find it on Amazon HERE. This peanut butter has only 100 calories and 2.5 grams of fat per serving!
  • Honey or honey substitute – used for a natural sweetener and binding agent. I like to use Keto Honey or Caramel syrup from ChocZero. This makes 22 balls.  Each one has 4 grams of protein!

What oats do you recommend using? Are rolled oats the same thing as old fashioned oats?

Yes they are. This is the kind of oats that you want to use for this recipe.

How do you make these No Bake Peppermint Protein Balls?

Combine all ingredients (except crushed peppermint candy canes) into a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. 

Roll batter into balls using your hands. Each ball should be around 1-inch in size.

Place crushed candy canes into a shallow bowl or plate. Roll protein balls into crushed peppermint candy canes. Roll protein balls into crushed peppermint candy canes.

Place protein balls onto a cookie sheet that has been covered with parchment paper. 

Chill the protein balls in the fridge until firm. 

Store leftovers in a ziploc bag and store in the fridge for up to a week or freezer for up to 3 months.

What if the batter is too dry?

Add a little bit of almond milk or skim milk to help bind the oats together.
