There’s just something about that taste of warm comforting chicken and gravy! It’s a protein packed meal that can be thrown together in the morning and is ready when you’re ready to eat after a long day! It’s always a great night when we have this for dinner!

What ingredients do I need to make this Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy?

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts– raw or frozen. Keep in mind if you use frozen the sauce will be a bit thinner due to the extra liquid from the frozen chicken breasts.

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts-raw or frozen
  • Healthy request cream of chicken soup-for gravy sauce.
  • Ranch dressing powder mix-for added seasoning.
  • Chicken gravy powder mix-for gravy.
  • Water or chicken broth- I like to use chicken broth for added flavoring.

Optional:

  • Fat free sour cream or non fat plain Greek yogurt-if you like a thicker and creamier sauce feel free to add 1/2 cup of fat free sour cream or non fat plain Greek yogurt just after shredding the chicken. The overall point value will be the same with or without adding this.

How do I make this Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy?

Spray a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Add the cream of chicken soup, brown gravy mix, ranch dressing mix, and water or chicken broth.

Whisk to combine. Add the chicken breasts and stir well.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 3-5 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks.

Stir in fat free sour cream or nonfat plain Greek yogurt, if desired.

Serve over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.

Enjoy!
