Two Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Rolls

These Two Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Rolls are the easiest homemade cinnamon rolls you’ll ever make.  No waiting for the dough to rise-Because these cinnamon rolls are made with the Two Ingredient Dough-Greek Yogurt and Self-Rising Flour!

The three key ingredients to making these chocolate chip cookies low in points is using Sukrin Gold-a zero Freestyle smart point brown sugar substitute– along with Land o’ Lakes light butter made with canola oil.

I use Land o’ Lake light butter for all of my baking recipes. I have found that it has the lowest points and it tastes amazing! You can find it at most grocery stores next to the butter. It comes in a tub-with a green lid. Be sure that it says light butter-they sell one that is regular that is made with canola oil as well-so be sure to check that it says light.

The Swerve Confectioners sugar substitute is like a powdered sugar-just without the calories. You can find it at Whole Foods are on Amazon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup gold medal self rising flour
  • 1 tbsp caramel extract or vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp Land o Lakes melted light butter made with canola oil
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Stevia or any other sugar substitute
  • 1 Tbsp Sukrin Gold or Splenda Brown sugar blend

Icing:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, Greek yogurt and extract.
  3. Sprinkle a little extra flour on the tabletop or whatever surface you plan on using to knead the dough. Place the dough ball on top, kneading it with your hands. If it sticks to your hands, sprinkle a little extra flour on it.
  4. Knead for 2 minutes, or until it’s a pliable dough.(I recommend starting with less yogurt at first to avoid getting the dough too sticky. And more as you go to get to a pliable dough.)
  5.  Spread the dough out on a parchment-lined baking sheet, until it’s about 1/4″ thick.
  6. Brush melted butter on dough & sprinkle cinnamon & Stevia and 1 Tbsp Splenda Brown Sugar blend on top of buttered dough.
  7. Roll up the dough and divide into 5 servings. Place cinnamon rolls on a parchment lined cookie sheet and cook for 18-20 minutes.
  8. Let them cool for 5 minutes before adding icing.
  9. To make icing: mix 2 Tbsp swerve confectioners sugar, 2 tsp hot water together and a dash of vanilla or caramel extract and mix until blended.
  10. Drizzle icing over the top of cinnamon rolls.

Servings: Makes 5 cinnamon rolls
