What ingredients do I need to make these Easy Copycat PF Chang’s Lettuce Wraps?
- Lean Ground Turkey or Chicken-I like to use 99% ground turkey or 98% ground chicken.
- Garlic cloves-minced
- Ground ginger or 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
- Green onions- thinly sliced
- Matchstick or shredded carrots– diced
- Canned sliced water chestnuts– drained and diced. You can find this at any grocery store or on Amazon HERE
- Hoisin sauce- you can find this at any grocery store near the soy sauce or on Amazon HERE
- Low sodium soy sauce- be sure to use low sodium soy sauce . Regular soy sauce can be a bit concentrated to use for the sauce. If you don’t have use 1 1/2 Tbsp regular and 1/2 Tbsp water
- Rice vinegar-you can find this at any grocery store near the soy sauce or on Amazon HERE
- Sesame oil-you can find this at any grocery store near the soy sauce or on Amazon HERE
- Chili paste or sriracha-you can find these at any grocery store near the soy sauce or on Amazon HERE
- Butter lettuce leaves
How do I make these Easy Copycat PF Chang’s Lettuce Wraps?
Spray a large nonstick skillet with non stick cooking spray.
Heat over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey or chicken and cook for about 5 minutes or until turkey is browned.
Stir to crumble. Drain any excess fat. Add garlic and ginger and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add green onions, chopped carrots,and water chestnuts. Stir to combine.
Meanwhile in a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili paste or sriracha.
Drizzle sauce over the turkey mixture. Gently toss until evenly coated. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Add about ¼ cup turkey mixture to each lettuce leaf.
Garnish with more green onions, chili sauce, or soy sauce, if desired.
