Glazed Carrots

These Glazed Carrots make a perfect Holiday side dish-they are simple easy to make and require just 4 delicious ingredients!!

Makes 7 ( 1/2 cup) servings  

Only 4 ingredients to make the perfect side dish; carrots, light butter, brown sugar substitute and ranch dressing dry mix.

   

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds fresh baby carrots
  • 2 Tbsp Land o’ Lakes light butter made with canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp zero point brown sugar substitute ( Sukrin Gold or Lakanto Monkfruit Golden Sweetener)
  • 1 envelope or (1 oz) ranch dressing dry mix

Directions:

  1. Place carrots in a saucepan; add 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil Reduce heat. Cover; cook for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain water and set aside.
  3. In the same saucepan, combine, the light butter brown sugar substitute and ranch dressing dry mix. Stir until blended. Add carrots.
  4. Cook and stir for an additional 5 minutes.

Makes 7 ( 1/2 cup) servings

What do you do with the water from the carrots.

Yes! These are a perfect dish to make ahead a time! Keep them in the refrigerator and reheat in oven or microwave.
