I’ve got the ultimate patriotic dessert for summer—and it’s mini! These Red, White and Blue Mini Cheesecake Trifles are decadent, creamy, refreshing, and delicious.

They’re packed with angel food cake, a homemade cheesecake yogurt layer, juicy strawberries, sweet blueberries and then topped with whipped topping. A fun patriotic treat, snack or dessert for summer!

What ingredients do I need to make these Red White and Blue Mini Cheesecake Trifles?

  • Reduced fat whipped cream cheese– room temperature.
  • Non fat plain, Greek, or vanilla yogurt– any yogurt will work. I prefer to use non fat plain yogurt in these cheesecake trifles.
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries– chopped
  • Angel food cake– I buy this from my local grocery store.
  • Fat free reddi whip

What is each amount for each mason jar?

This recipe will make five ( 12 oz.) mason jar servings. Each mason jar will have:

  • 1 slice of angel food cake (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 1/2 cup non fat plain or Greek yogurt mixture, divided
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped. Divided.
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, divided.
  • 2 Tbsp fat free whipped topping

What if I don’t have mason jars?

No worries! I like to make these in individual mason jars for portion control however you could also make this in a larger trifle dish, if desired.

Place half the pieces of angel food cake in the bottom of each mason jar.

Top the cake pieces with ¼ cup non fat plain yogurt mixture.

Then add 1/4 cup chopped strawberries and 1/4 cup blueberries.

Top the fruit with 1/4 cup yogurt mixture.

Add the remaining pieces of angel food cake to the jar. Top with remaining 1/4 cup strawberries and 1/4 cup blueberries.

FYI: I clicked your "Click for WW points" link ... it DOES NOT list the 4 oz. reduced fat whipped cream cheese as an ingredient??? It's not "6 points" per serving, but "8 points" per serving.

I made this for the fourth of July... It looks GREAT! My change was that I used a little monkfruit in the cream cheese mixture and made four servings at 6 points each! I have only tasted the cheese mixture and OH MY HECK!!!! It is the same flavor as cheesecake! You gotta try this! Oh, and I made it in my 16 ounce canning jars and I had to use frozen fruit as I was not going out to get the fresh, although I would love that too!
