- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder-I recommend using Hershey’s or Ghirardelli 100% Unsweetened Ground Cocoa
- 2 Tbsp zero point white granulated sugar sweetener – I use Lakanto Monkfruit classic sweetener
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or skim milk
Directions:
- Heat the unsweetened almond milk in a microwaveable cup in the microwave, for about 1-1/2 minutes or until hot.
- Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Stir until all ingredients are dissolved and fully blended.

- In a small mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients (unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, and cinnamon). Stir until well combined.
- To make each serving, add 1/3 cup of dry mix to 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and stir in and 1/8 tsp vanilla extract.
- Microwave the unsweetened almond milk or skim milk until hot (about 1- 1 and 1/2 minutes) Stir until well combined.
- Heat the unsweetened almond milk in a cup in the microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes or if making more than one serving in a large pot on the stove until hot.
- Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Continue whisking until all ingredients are dissolved and fully blended.
- Place the hot cocoa in a crockpot to keep warm, if desired.
