  • Sugar free white chocolate chips – I like to use no sugar added Choczero or Lily’s white chocolate chips.

Sugar free hot cocoa ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat the unsweetened almond milk in a microwaveable cup in the microwave, for about 1-1/2 minutes or until hot.
  2. Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir until all ingredients are dissolved and fully blended.
  4. Enjoy!

Grab a tray or cutting board and arrange items in bunches or piles around the edge of the board with the highlighted items in the center of the board. 

Make yourself a cup of sugar free hot cocoa or place the hot chocolate in a crockpot to keep warm, if desired. 

How do I make the homemade sugar free hot cocoa?

Heat the unsweetened almond milk in a microwaveable cup in the microwave, for about 1-1/2 minutes or until hot.

Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

 Stir until all ingredients are dissolved and fully blended.

Add your favorite toppings, for additional points.

  2. To make each serving, add 1/3 cup of dry mix to 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and stir in and 1/8 tsp vanilla extract.
  3. Microwave the unsweetened almond milk or skim milk until hot (about 1- 1 and 1/2 minutes) Stir until well combined.
  4. Heat the unsweetened almond milk in a cup in the microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes or if making more than one serving in a large pot on the stove until hot.
  5. Whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  6. Continue whisking until all ingredients are dissolved and fully blended.
  7. Place the hot cocoa in a crockpot to keep warm, if desired. 

Add your favorite optional toppings such as: reddi whip cream, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, crushed peppermint candy canes, sugar free chocolate chips or peanut butter cups, etc.

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder- I recommend using Hershey's or Ghirardelli 100% Unsweetened Ground Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups zero points white granulated sugar sweetener-I use Lakanto Classic Monkfruit Sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 cups unsweetened almond milk or skim milk, for additional points
