What Ingredients do I need for this Big Mac Salad?

  •  96% extra lean ground beef or 99% fat free ground turkey– I usually use 96% extra lean ground beef. You may substitute that for 99% ground turkey-which is Zero SmartPoints on the WW blue and purple plans-however- I find that the lean ground beef has a lot more flavor and is low in points that I don’t mind using a few daily points on the lean ground beef.
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Onion salt
  • Garlic-minced
  • Romaine or Iceberg lettuce-chopped
  • Diced tomato or 12 grape tomatoes-optional.  Now, I know Big Mac’s DO NOT have tomatoes on them…however;  I love adding them in this Big Mac Salad for added deliciousness and color!
  • Red or white onion– diced. Big Mac’s have minced white onion on them.
  • Reduced fat cheddar cheese -I use Trader Joe’s 3 Lite Cheese Blend or Velveeta Shreds )
  • Dill pickles-diced

How do I make this Big Mac Salad?

Spray a large skillet with non stick cooking spray.

Add the lean ground beef and onion salt and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Use a fork to crumble the meat.

Add Worcestershire sauce and mined garlic. Stir until garlic is incorporated.

Cook meat until it is no longer be pink. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Dice pickles, grape tomatoes and red or white onion

Using a food scale, measure out 4 ounces of ground beef and divide evenly among the salads.

Divide the romaine, tomatoes evenly among four servings.
