Summertime is all about fresh fruit and veggies.

And what better way to make the most of the season than with a dessert salad? This is a tasty dessert salad perfect for those hot summer days when you want to cool down with something sweet and delicious.

Skinny Creamy Grape Salad has always been a summertime favorite at our house, and it’s great for potlucks!

It’s made with bright green, and red grapes slathered in a creamy, lightened-up cream cheese dressing, then topped with brown sugar and crunchy pecans. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and tart, fresh and crunchy, creamy and chewy—the perfect combination for any palate!

What ingredients do I need to make this Skinny Creamy Grape Salad ?

  • Seedless red grapes– Any type of grape will work but I like using two different colored grapes to give the salad more color!
  • Seedless green grapes
  • Light cream cheese -room temperature. The dressing will have a smoother texture if it’s blended at room temperature.
  • Non fat plain Greek yogurt – you can use plain or plain Greek yogurt.
  • Zero point powdered sweetener– I use Lakanto baking or powdered sweetener. Click HERE to order. Save 15% with promo code: POUND15
  • Vanilla or almond extract
  • Zero point brown sugar or brown sugar sweetener- I like to use Lakanto Brown. The Lakanto Brown is made with monkfruit and is a brown sugar sweetener.  Click HERE to order. Save 15% with promo code: POUND15
  • Pecans chopped

What sweetener do you recommend I use for this Skinny Creamy Grape Salad ?

I recommend using a powdered sugar sweetener for the creamy dressing instead of a white granulated sugar. The powdered sweetener gives the creamy dressing a smoother texture. The classic sweetener is tends to have a gritty texture and can throw off the entire salad texture.

Why use Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener?

  • It contains zero net carbs, zero calories, and is zero-glycemic. This is perfect for cookies, coffee, desserts, topping brownies, and other sweet, sugar-free treats.
  • Matches the Sweetness of Sugar: A healthy cup for cup alternative to ordinary baking and cooking ingredients. Great for making icing and frosting.
  • Lifestyle Friendly: Works with ketogenic, diabetic, candida, paleo, vegan, low-sugar, non-GMO, and all-natural diets.

I have a couple of questions about your grape salad. 1. Can you use vanilla non-fat Greek yogurt? 2. Can you sprinkle granola on top, instead of pecans?3. Do you have to sprinkle brown sugar on top?
