I buy the long stemmed strawberries at Sam’s club. They are seasonal-usually around the month of February they carry them. They are very large in size and have a long stem which helps when dipping them in chocolate.  However, any store bought strawberries will work.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash strawberries and allow them to dry completely on paper towels. (Be sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping them into the chocolate.)
  2. Scoop 2 Tbsp Lakanto chocolate into a small microwaveable bowl.
  3. Microwave chocolate spread for 20 seconds and then remove from microwave and stir. Cook for an additional 10 seconds or until chocolate is completely melted.
  4. Dip lower half of each strawberry into chocolate mixture; allow excess to drip back into bowl.
  5. Place on parchment paper for about 20 minutes or until chocolate is firm or until ready to serve.
  6. Store strawberries in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to a week.

Hi Molly,

You could use sugar free chocolate chips. I would add 1/2 Tbsp of skim milk or a pinch of coconut oil to help melt the chocolate chips. Thank you so much!
