What ingredients do I need to make this appetizer platter?

  • Asian pear-for the turkey’s body
  • Whole cloves-for the turkey’s eyes
  • Carrot stick-for the turkey’s legs and beak
  • Sliced cucumbers– I use an English cucumber 
  • Broccoli florets 
  • Red grapes
  • Green grapes
  • Cheese slices– I used a variety pack including: Pepperjack, Monterey cheddar, Sharp cheddar, and Swiss cheese. Sliced into thin strips.
  • Hormel Turkey pepperoni
  • Crackers-add your favorite crackers at the bottom of the tray, if desired.

Can I use other veggies? 

Note: You can swamp out the cheese or other ingredients for other veggies such as carrots, snap peas, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers, and celery sticks.

Can I make this appetizer platter in advance?

Yes, You can make this turkey vegetable platter up to 24 hours in advance. Just cover it tightly with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge.

How do I make this Thanksgiving Turkey Appetizer Tray?

To make the turkey feathers: Layer red and green grapes around the pear. Then add additional layers with cucumber slices, broccoli florets, and then followed by the turkey pepperoni and cheese slices.

Garnish the remaining space with your favorite crackers.

Feel free to add a bowl of your favorite dip!

Ingredients:

  • Crackers-add your favorite crackers at the bottom of the tray, if desired.
