Skinny Orange Cranberry Crisp

This Orange Cranberry Crisp is sweet, tart and insanely delicious! This makes for an easy festive dessert for the Holidays!

Makes 8 ( 3/4 cup) servings

What ingredients do I need to make this Orange Cranberry Crisp?

  • Fresh cranberries-you could also use frozen-but do not thaw them beforehand.
  • Zero point brown sugar sweetener – I like to use Lakanto Monkfruit Golden Sweetener. Adding sweetener helps offset the tartness of the cranberries.
  • Cornstarch– this thickens the juices
  • Fresh squeezed orange juice– from one large orange.
  • Freshly grated orange zest– from one orange.

Topping ingredients:

What sweetener do you recommend I use for this Orange Cranberry Crisp?

I use LAKANTO CLASSIC MONKFUIT SWEETENER and LAKANTO GOLDEN MONKFRUIT SWEETENER in my baking recipes. The “Classic” is a zero point white granulated sugar substitute. The “Golden” is a zero point brown sugar substitute.

Lakanto MonkFruit Sweetener is a zero glycemic, zero calorie and all natural sugar substitute. It is by far the best tasting sugar alternative and has zero aftertaste or gritty texture like some of the sugar alternatives have.

The Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener (sugar substitute) that is used in this recipe is zero points. Please keep in mind-the point value can vary depending on the brand of sugar substitute you choose to use.  Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener also has a 1:1 ratio to real sugar. If you use a different sugar substitute you will want to use the equivalent to real sugar that is recommended on back of the sugar substitute package.

Do not use the WW nutritional calculator to calculate points. The nutritional calculator does take zero point food ingredients into consideration and will not be accurate. Personal Point values and nutritional information are estimated and calculated using the brand of ingredients listed in the recipe. PersonalPoints values may vary depending on the brand of ingredients used and depending on your customized zero point foods list. To accurately calculate the Personal Point value on a recipe you will need to enter the ingredients in the WW app recipe builder by going to the top bar in your WW App and selecting “My Foods” then when you are in my foods select “Recipes” then click “Create” in top corner, this is where you will build the recipe, give it a name, select how many servings it makes and then add all ingredients.

Hi Linds, With the new Personal Points program showing up tomorrow will you and your recipes reflect that w/changes?

Lindsay Kehl

Hi Mary

Yes, the recipes will all be updated with the Personal Points. It may take a bit of time getting all the recipes updated-any new recipes will have the personal points listed. Keep in mind-with the personal points program all zero point foods will vary per person-which can vary the point value for any recipes with zero point foods.

In those cases I will be providing a point value range for the recipe! I recommend building the recipe in the WW recipe builder via the WW app to accurately track the points since everyone's zero point food lists will be different.

Thanks so much
