I love how easy this low point wonton soup is to make. It requires only a few ingredients ( frozen wontons, broth, soy sauce, sesame oil and green onions) and takes under 10 minutes to throw together. I get the frozen chicken & cilantro mini wontons at Costco or Trader Joe’s sells similar ones as well. They are 1 point for 4 wontons.

This soup make for a great appetizer, snack, lunch or a light dinner.

Pour one cup of water, wontons, and soy sauce into a small sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Turn heat to low and cook until wontons are soft and tender.

Stir in the chicken stock or Trader Joe’s miso soup and the sesame oil.  Simmer on low for another 3-4 minutes.

Garnish with green onions.

How can we go about adding chicken to this soup? How would I incorporate that in the steps process?
