How do I make this Lightened Up Graham Cracker Crust?

This crust recipe is so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. Graham Cracker Crumbs, Light Butter, White Granulated Sugar Sweetener, and Cinnamon. For the sugar sweetener can use any zero point white granulated sugar substitute. Although, I personally recommend the Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener. It has ZERO aftertastes, bakes, looks, and tastes just like real sugar. You can find more information about it by clicking HERE.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9-inch springform pan or pie dish with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl combine, graham cracker crumbs, sugar substitute, and cinnamon.

Pour melted better over graham cracker mixture.

Mix until well combined.

Pour crumbs into center of the prepared 9- inch springform pan or 9-inch pie dish.

Using the back of a spatula or spoon press the crumbles down and around the entire pan in a nice even layer.

Bake for 7 minutes. Let it cool for about 5-10 minutes.

Add cheesecake batter or pie filling and bake as directed.

HI Mary

Yes, you bet! This crust can be made ahead of time and then stored in the fridge until ready to use. I recommend using it within 2 days of making it.

Have a great day!

Can use different types of butter?

Lindsay Kehl

Hi Diane,

You can use any light butter that is 2 Smartpoints for 1 Tbsp. That is the point value for the Land o' Lakes light butter made with canola oil. So, as long as the equivalent for the replacement is the same, the point value will be the same.

Thank you!
