These Two Ingredient Dough Raspberry Turnovers are Fantastic! They are a great low point alternative to a high point Turnover.
The Two Ingredient Dough has been a staple on my journey. It took a few attempts to figure out the consistency of the non fat Greek yogurt to the self rising flour but once you start making more recipes-the easier it becomes to work with. Be sure to watch my two ingredient dough demo video for a few tips.
Here are a few of my favorite “Two Ingredient Dough” recipes:
Two Ingredient Dough Pepperoni Pizza
Two Ingredient Dough Caramel Apple Turnovers
Two Ingredient Dough Bread Bowl
Two Ingredient Dough Fruit Tart
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour, I use Gold Medal
- 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt, I use Fage our Chobani
- 1 Tbsp sugar free Jam (any flavor)
- 1 Tbsp Pillsbury Sugar Free Vanilla Frosting
- 1/2 tsp warm water
- dash of sprinkles
- 1 egg + 1 tsp water
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine flour and Greek yogurt.
- Sprinkle a little extra flour on the tabletop or whatever surface you plan on using to knead the dough. Place the dough ball on top, kneading it with your hands. If it sticks to your hands, sprinkle a little extra flour on it. Knead for 5-8 turns, until it’s a pliable dough.
- Separate the dough into two servings. Spread the dough out on a parchment-lined baking sheet, until it’s about 1/4″ thick, then cover with 1/2 Tbsp sugar free jam on each section and fold up dough and pinch sides to close up the holes.
- Brush tops of the dough with egg wash (egg beaten with 1 tsp water)
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust has puffed up and is lightly golden
- Mix sugar free vanilla frosting with 1 tsp of warm water to thin it out. Pour over each turnover after turnovers have cooled for 5 minutes.
- Add sprinkles.

Hi Lindsay, I’m new to your blog and I thank you for sharing your recipes with your followers. I’ve tried a few for the family and they’ve loved them. Ref. The turnovers can you use an air fryer to cook them? If so, can you tell me at what degree and time? Thanks again.

Hi Barbara,
Thank you for your comments. I am so happy to hear you and your family are enjoying my recipes. Yes, You can air fry the turnovers. You would cook them at 360 degrees for 6-7 minutes or until they look golden brown. Thank you so much!

I really enjoy your hints and recipes and would like to thank you for sharing them. I have made a glaze of sorts before out of the Pillsbury Sugar Free frosting and liquid, sugar free, Coffee-Mate. The creamer is 0 SP per tablespoon. I’m thinking your turnovers would be great to try it on. Thank you again!
